ISSHIN_LOVE? Isshin's true love was Masaki Kurosaki. He shows his devotion to her in a variety of ways. First, you have that great giant poster. A constant reminder of the woman he loves. Second, he frequently seems to talk to her as though she is still alive. To him, she is still there as long as he remembers. Third, every year he takes the family to 'visit' her. He spends all day there and dresses his best. It's also the only day he smokes. He does this because she commented on it once and he wants her to see him look cool. Lastly, and most telling, you never see him date. You never see him look or even talk about another woman. In his mind he is still married to her. All that's left is to die and join her once again. Not that he wants to die. He's quite happy to wait until he's taken care of the children to meet her in his old age. After Masaki, Isshin is closest to Yuzu. Yuzu fulfills the mother role by cooking and taking care of the house. She's also the youngest maturity wise and most in need of reassurance/love. I think it's a tie for the next closest. Ichigo and Karin seem to be too old for cuddling so they get more of a tough love thing. But they are also very close. Fourth is the clinic. Isshin loves his job and I don't really think he'd be happy doing anything else.
